Jim Anthony of APG has long been at the forefront of addressing critical societal issues. In last year’s short-form documentary, produced by the ViewPoint Project with Dennis Quaid, Jim highlighted the escalating affordability crisis in the housing market. He emphasized how this ongoing issue is affecting communities at large and called for innovative solutions.
This week, Jim, along with APG’s John Zemet, attended a fundraising event at the Pavilion at Angus Barn in Raleigh, in support of the Foundation of Hope. For over 35 years, the Foundation of Hope has partnered with UNC Chapel Hill’s Department of Psychiatry to focus on mental health research. The event’s keynote speaker, Dennis Quaid, shared his personal journey through addiction, underscoring the role of faith in overcoming life’s challenges.
While the timing of the famous actor’s involvement is purely coincidental, we won’t hesitate to shamelessly seize the moment! After all, how often do you get to tie a Hollywood star to both a documentary on housing affordability and a fundraising event for mental health research? It’s a perfect opportunity to showcase APG’s commitment to tackling both economic and social issues, blending business acumen with a strong sense of community responsibility.
