As part of the 2025 Medal of Honor Celebration held at the Coolidge National Medal of Honor Heritage Center in Chattanooga last week, a 6-day series of tributes honoring our nation’s most decorated heroes — Jim and Gina Anthony were deeply honored to welcome more than 30 living Medal of Honor Recipients to Happy Valley Farms for an evening of reflection and gratitude.

In his opening remarks, Jim reminded guests that we owe every recipient more than admiration — we owe remembrance.

“These are not distant names in a history book,” he said. “Nor is it just a medal. It’s a symbol of extraordinary courage, sacrifice and devotion — to others above self.”

The dinner at Happy Valley Farms was one of the most meaningful gatherings of the week, providing a quiet moment of fellowship amid the celebration’s many public events. For the Anthonys, it was both a privilege and a calling to see this special venue - one that has become a significant part of their life’s story - serve as the backdrop for honoring those who have given so much in service to others.

As CEO and Founder of APG Companies and steward of Happy Valley Farms, Jim’s commitment to community and legacy runs deep. This evening reflected the same guiding principle that shapes APG’s mission — to put God’s gifts to work to build people and places for better lives.

We invite you to take a few moments to watch Jim’s message below. May it inspire you to read the stories of these incredible individuals and to carry forward their example of courage, humility, and devotion.
