TLC – formerly Tammy Lynn Center

Founded in 1969 as the Tammy Lynn Center, TLC empowers individuals of all abilities to reach their fullest potential. Initially established by three families seeking better support for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities, TLC has grown over the past five decades to serve nearly 400 children, adults and families across the Triangle and surrounding areas. Located on a nine-acre campus near NC State’s Centennial Campus in Raleigh, TLC offers a wide range of services, including early childhood intervention, education, therapy, autism treatment, residential care, community living, respite care and family support. TLC is committed to enriching lives, fostering independence and creating opportunities for individuals to learn, live and grow in a supportive and nurturing environment.
