NC Med Assist provides individuals and families across the state of North Carolina a Free Pharmacy Program, Mobile Free Pharmacy Program, and a Transitional Job Program.

The Free Pharmacy Program provides free prescription medications to North Carolina residents who are uninsured and fall at or below 300% of the Federal Poverty Level. The Mobile Free Pharmacy provides individuals and families who are low-income with free over-the-counter medicine.

The NC MedAssist Transitional Jobs Program is a work-based learning opportunity for individuals who are experiencing long-term unemployment and/or barriers to employment.  Employees in the program gain real world work experience through targeted training with supportive supervision followed up with at least three documented evaluations that may help as they continue toward employment stability.
