Founded in 2018, Layers of Dignity is a nonprofit organization serving sexual assault survivors across North Carolina.  To support their healing, Layers of Dignity provides each survivor with a tote bag containing new clothing, toiletries, a hand-written letter from a fellow survivor and a next-step guide for restoring hope and dignity. By offering survivors new clothes and vital resources, the organization helps them take the first steps toward healing, supported by a community dedicated to walking with them. Layers of Dignity’s mission is made possible through generous donations from the community.
