Comfort Zone Camp Lunch and Learn

Last month, APG Companies hosted a Lunch and Learn with Comfort Zone Camp to learn more about their mission and impactful work. Comfort Zone Camp, a nonprofit 501(c)3 bereavement organization, is committed to transforming the lives of children who have lost a parent, sibling, caregiver, or other significant individual. They offer free age-based camps and programs featuring trust-building activities designed to help ease the isolation often caused by grief. Comfort Zone Camp serves children ages 7-17, their families, and young adults aged 18-25.

Originally founded to support children and their families affected by 9/11, Comfort Zone Camp expanded in 2010 to assist others coping with grief. While the organization operates nationwide, it primarily serves the East Coast and offers travel vouchers to make their camps accessible to all. With camps offered year-round, Comfort Zone Camp has helped over 24,000 children.
