Cristo Rey Research Triangle High School

Cristo Rey Research Triangle High School, founded in 2019, offers a transformative education rooted in Catholic values. As part of the Cristo Rey Network, the school fosters an inclusive community that values diversity and promotes social justice. The school provides a rigorous curriculum designed to prepare students for success in higher education, while offering professional work experience to students from limited financial resources. Through service projects, internships and partnerships with local businesses, students develop leadership skills and make a positive impact in the Durham community. Their comprehensive College Counseling Program guides students through the college application process, helping them find the best fit for their aspirations.
A distinctive feature of CRRTHS is its Corporate Work-Study Program, where students work five full days a month at local businesses and nonprofit organizations. This hands-on experience not only enhances their education but also helps offset tuition costs, making quality education more accessible. This year, APG Companies is proud to partner with Seeds of Mustard Ministries to support a student in this program. Through their time working at Seeds of Mustard’s thrift store, Thrift2Gift, the student will gain valuable work experience and insight into the nonprofit sector.
